One Bad Mice

1-8 December 2005
The people of Kerala of South India are uniquely diverse; they are a self-elected communist state with Christians, Muslims, Hindus and Westerners living harmoniously together.

In the LiLa Gallery I created a provocative installation and then invited the people who were in the area to add their responses to the piece. After 8 days these responses were performed and displayed within the installation provisionally completing the work.

The interactions between viewer and art work manifested themselves in the form of; poetry, photomontage, martial art dance and music (solo harmonica and a Italian Mandolin and Indian Sitar duet), all produced in direct response to the installation and atmosphere created in the gallery.
